Abbey operates 150,000ft2 of warehousing units on the Wirral, North West England. The warehousing space is strategically located close to the M53, M56, M6 and M62 motorways and Liverpool port.
The Wirral warehouse is a secure, modern space, manned 24/7 and featuring the latest in warehouse technologies and we have invested heavily in market-leading Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), to provide customers with real-time visibility of our warehouse operations and their stock levels.
We also operate a food-grade liquid drumming facility at our Wirral warehouse, which provides safe, hygienic and efficient drumming of liquid products. The drumming service provides significant added value to the bulk liquid transport we provide to customers, as we are able to collect liquid products in our road tankers and deliver them to our drumming facility, where the finished products are drummed and prepared for onward transportation.
Also on-site Abbey operates a bag to bulk materials handling facility that processes bulk powder reformatting (Rip & Tip) from bulk bags of various sizes into road tankers and silo containers.
