Abbey Extends Strategic Partnership with British Sugar
Abbey Logistics’ Warehousing division operates from our base on the Wirral, near Liverpool. Our depot features 150,000ft2 of warehousing units and is strategically located close to the M53, M56, M6 and M62 motorways and Liverpool port.
The warehouse is a secure, modern space, manned 24/7 and featuring the latest in warehouse technologies and we have invested heavily in market-leading Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), to provide customers with real-time visibility of our warehouse operations and their stock levels.
The warehouse meets UKWA standards which includes a rigorous inspection by a UKWA Board member on eleven areas including the likes of health & safety, buildings and perimeter inspection, handling & storage equipment and environmental performance. It offers customers the confidence that they are dealing with an established and professional organisation who are operating to an accredited standard.
Abbey also holds several other supporting accreditations that ensure we manage and operate our warehouse units to the highest possible standards.
Abbey also operates its commercial drumming facility for food-grade liquids from the Bromborough site.
Our Bromborough site also has workshop facilities to maintain and service our vehicles and trailers, overnight parking and driver facilities.
Also on-site Abbey operates a bag to bulk materials handling facility that processes bulk powder reformatting (Rip & Tip) from bulk bags of various sizes into road tankers and silo containers.
