Origination of Company - based in Abbey Close Birkenhead

1973

1992 Abbey secures 2nd site in Bootle Merseyside and our first road tanker wash bay

1992

Launched ART 2000 the UKs first hygienically designed food liquid tanker which went on to win Motor Transport’s prestigious “UK Tanker of the Year award”

1994

3rd site opens in Hull and our second road tanker wash bay

1998

Abbey opens our 4th site in Silvertown London

2001

European operations begin for bulk liquid food

2010

Abbey enter the bulk powder transport market

Abbey launches bespoke twin cargo trailer for transporting pallets and liquids
