Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;

Location: Wellingborough Depot
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 5 on, 3 off shift pattern
Start Times: Afternoon shifts (15:00-18:00)

Basic Pay £43,668.00 per year + Overtime

Abbey Logistics is looking for professional HGV 1 Tanker Drivers to join our Wellingborough team.

You’ll be responsible for safely transporting bulk powder products across the UK, with occasional European work where required. Previous tanker experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

• Basic salary from £43,668.00 per annum.
• Overtime paid daily after 9.6 hours at £19.88 ph
• Additional shift payment Monday – Friday £56.49, Saturday & Sunday £97.00

What you’ll be doing

• Collecting and delivering bulk powder products to customer sites.
• Completing vehicle checks using our digital handheld system.
• Maintaining a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
• Following all company procedures and industry regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing Abbey Logistics.

What we’re looking for

• Full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Tanker experience is an advantage but not essential.
• A professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
