HGV 1 Tanker Driver – Days

Variety of shift patterns available, MUST include a weekend day each week.
Nights out included but not guaranteed

Type of work: HGV 1 Tanker (Tipper Tanks)
Location: Bury St Edmonds

• Rates of pay: £16.01ph Monday – Friday / £17.57 Saturday / £20.07 Sunday

The role of an Abbey Logistics HGV 1 Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using powder tipper tanks throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading of Powder Tipper Tanks
• Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
• Working at heights
• Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining strong customer service standards
• Use appropriate equipment to safely discharge materials via tipping or blowing systems.

What We’re Looking For:

HGV 1 Licence for a minimum of 12 months – Max 6 penalty points
Valid DCPC Card
Tanker Experience Preferred but not Essential
