Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;

HGV 1 TANKER DRIVER – POWDER TIPPER TANKS – NIGHTS

• Shift patterns flexible but MUST include weekend shift each week
• Both part time and full time positions available (Must include weekend shift)

Full time permanent

• Based at our Bury St Edmunds depot
• Tanker experience preferred
• Full training provided
• Loading and unloading of powder tankers
• Tipper Tankers
• Nights
• Flexible on shift pattern, but must include weekend shift each week
• £16.01ph Monday – Friday , £17.57ph Saturday, £20.07ph Sunday
• Additional £12.84 per night shift
• Guaranteed 9 hours per day

The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk powder tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

• Collection & Delivery of powder product in tipper tankers to and from customer locations
• Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
• Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines

Experience

• Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
• Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given
• Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
