Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;

HGV TANKER DRIVER

4 on 4 off Tramper

• Based at our Bridgwater depot
• 4 on 4 off Tramping
• Tanker experience preferred
• Loading and unloading of Liquid Tanks
• Basic – £17.60 / Overtime – £17.60/ Overtime Sat – £17.60/ Overtime Sun – £18.50
• Weekly pay
• £26.20 per night out
• Microlise bonus – Paid monthly
• Allocated unit

The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk liquid tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

• Loading & Delivery of powder tankers to and from UK and European (if required) customer locations
• Working at heights
• Complying with all drivers’ hours and working time regulations
• Using a digital hand-held device to record all vehicle checks and delivery information
• Following customer and company guidelines and processes

Experience

• Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence for a minimum of 2 years (no more than 6 penalty points)
• Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given
• Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
• Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs
