Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;

HGV 1 Tanker Driver – Bromborough
4 on 4 off Nights
Curtain Side Trailers

• Full time permanent
• 4 on 4 off Nights
• Based at our Bromborough depot
• Curtain Side Trailers
• Start times 1700-1800
• Rate of pay: £17.52ph
• Weekly pay
• Microlise bonus – paid monthly

The role of an Abbey Logistics Class1  Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using curtain side trailers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

• Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
• Working at heights
• Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
• Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines
• Involves connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading and unloading.
• Requires climbing onto tanks to check hatches and seals.
• Manual handling of equipment such as couplings, valves, and hoses.

Experience

• Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
• Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
• Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs
