Workshop Co-ordinator, Middlewich

Role: Workshop Co-ordinator

Location: Middlewich

Salary: dependant on experience (£20,000-£25,000)

 

Job Role:

To provide administrative co-ordination for the Middlewich workshop function and support the wider business and Fleet team, managing daily & weekly reports and progressing to completion of the wider administrative function.  Ensuring accurate input of all relevant information into Workshop maintenance system and any other reasonable task requested by workshop manager & Head of Fleet.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Dealing with driver queries and vehicle maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental and management systems
  • To maintain effective administration systems, including accurate and comprehensive data entry onto computerised systems, in line with company requirements and procedures
  • To organise and book vehicle maintenance, servicing and MOT’s in accordance with company and legislative requirements
  • Provide administrative support around the maintenance, accident and fleet management of company vehicles
  • Provide guidance and support to the operational teams on a daily basis to help resolve issues
  • Support other fleet administration activities as required e.g. during peak workload
  • General administration – answering the phone
  • Support Workshop Manager as and when required

 

Knoweldge, Skills & Behaviours:

 

  • Good communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Competent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point
  • Capable of working as part of a flexible team.
  • Maintenance systems experience preferred but not essential.
