Warehouse Team Leader

 

Responsible for leading the warehouse operatives in day-to-day operations and ensuring all the team are operating safely. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager & Warehouse Administrator to ensure all customer orders and deliveries are processed accurately.

 

Shift

  • Monday – Friday (days)
  • Full time permanent
  • Based at our Bromborough depot

Extra £65.00 supervisor payment every week

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock control and stock checks on all customer accounts.
  • Promoting Health and Safety across site and ensuring all housekeeping is up to date.
  • Administration work, contributing to processing goods in and goods out reports.
  • Helping warehouse operatives and HGV drivers with daily challenges.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and communicating with customers via email and phone.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Computer Literate – Outlook and Microsoft programs.
  • Warehousing experience, including all goods in and goods out reporting.
  • Customer Service – Communicating via phone and emails and dealing with complaints.
    It is important that in this role that you can also deal with delivery drivers.
  • FLT counterbalance Licence – essential.
  • BRC and quality management knowledge and experience
  • Problem solving and working on own initiative.
  • Experience in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and processing orders.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good numerical skills
  • Health and Safety
