Transport & Planning Administrator

Salary

£30,000 (based on experience)

The Role

The Transport Administrator will report directly to the Transport Operations Manager. The role will involve the following elements:

Traffic Planning:

  • Supporting the planning team in executing the allocated plan daily and ensure the drivers and tanks are where they should be at the allotted time
  • Route planning support (will be trained in bulk Liquids)
  • To be a key point of contact for drivers
  • To assemble planning performance KPI’s for Senior Management and support planning functions in other depots as required.
  • Driver communication

Customer Service:

  • To be a key point of contact for customers
  • Phone calls, attending customer meetings, order entry & amendments
  • Preparing customer KPIs and reports

Support:

  • Product compatibility reporting
  • Holiday cover for Traffic Planner (once fully trained to cover the basis of the role)

Shift

Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)

The Individual

We are keen to employ an individual with energy, drive and some relevant previous experience within a transport role or busy transport environment. Someone who is ready for a challenge and keen to progress and build a career in Transport & Logistics.

There is an opportunity to work towards gaining a Certificate of Professional Competence (for Transport Managers)

Qualifications

  • Preferably a good standard of education (minimum of 3 GCCEs including Maths and English)
