The Transport Planner/Supervisor will be based from our office in Hartlepool, County Durham. The role will oversee the day-to-day planning of 15 dedicated liquid road tankers for a specific customer transporting non-hazardous bulk liquids. The Transport Planner/Supervisor will be the main point of contact for drivers, collection points and our customer and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operation.
This is an exciting and autonomous role with a new customer, the successful applicant will report to Abbey’s operations manager based in Hull so we are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual who is comfortable working without the support of a wider team at the same location. Support will be provided through Abbey’s centralised teams and always on hand and members of our operations team will often base themselves from Seal Sands.
