Salary: Competitive with car allowance (plus employee benefits)

Based: North West based with travel

Regional Responsibility: Liverpool, Manchester, Middlewich, Buxton & Bridgwater

Permanent contract – Monday to Friday

 

The Regional Health and Safety Advisor Role

Abbey has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Health and Safety Advisor to join our SHEQ team.

This new role will see you join a dedicated and experienced team who works to ensure safety and environmental compliance for one of the UK’s largest road tanker companies.

You will report to the Group Health and Safety Manager, and offer high-quality health and safety advice to all stakeholders across the business.  You will be part of a team that provide an effective Health & Safety resource, by dedicating your time to depots and supporting our company’s desire to continuously improve the health and safety standards and safety culture.

 

What you need to succeed:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma (desirable)
  • Environmental compliance experience (desirable)
  • The ability to speak with different stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Logistics or food manufacture industry experience is desirable
  • Must have the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Performance driven.
